Preparation of dough

To prepare the dough, prepare sour cream, margarine, tea soda, table vinegar (9%), flour. 100 grams of margarine need to melt on the steam bath. Next add 2 tablespoons of sour cream and 1/3 teaspoon of soda, having previously extinguished it in vinegar. After that, stirring gently, slowly pour one glass of flour. The pastry for a quick pie with onions is ready. It should cool slightly, so for 10-15 minutes it should be removed in the cold room.

Preparation of onion filling

1 kg onion should be washed, cleaned and cut into small half-rings (0.5-0.7 cm thick). Next into a deep frying pan, pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable (sunflower) oil and put out the onion half-rings over a medium heat for 10-15 minutes. So they should become soft and transparent. Stick them up a little bit.

From the prepared dough it is necessary to roll out a thin lozenge, 1-1,5 cm thick. Grease the pan or special baking shape with butter. Put the dough so that in the future it is possible to make skirts for filling. Break it up with your hands.

Put onion filling on the dough. 200 grams of sour cream well mix with 2 eggs, use a mixer. Pour the resulting mixture onion filling.

Heat the oven to 200-220 degrees. Bake the pie with the onions for 20-30 minutes. Before serving on the table, cool it. The pie is served portionally to each guest, having previously decorated it with fresh greens.

As a filling, in addition to onions, skimmed sausage, boiled meat or chicken breast can be used by cutting small cubes. Spices and spices, such as oregano, cumin, watercress salad or sesame grains, will also be spicy. Pleasant appetite!
