How Samsung Tablets will be Updated

Samsung’s new mobile devices will differ from previous analogues by a number of parameters. The main changes concern the operating system. Those lines of tablet computers that used to work with Windows Seven will be equipped with the modern Windows 8 system.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy series tablet computers ran the Android 4 operating system, called Ice Cream Sandwich. New models of Galaxy Nexus devices will work with Android 4.1. This system was called Jelly Bean (Chewing Candy).

The company suspended production of this model in order to equip it with a 4-core processor. Exynos 4412 CPU performance is a quarter higher than previous devices. Simultaneously, its power consumption is reduced by about 40%, which is not insignificant for tablet processors.

It is important to note that only devices with a 10-inch screen will undergo global changes. The configuration of many released devices will be changed for the better. Certain models will receive built-in 3G modules and new rechargeable batteries. As for the Galaxy Note range, these devices will be equipped with new displays that support 1920×1080 pixel resolution. This change will affect even 7-inch tablets.
