Train trains from Riga Station in Moscow go to Volokolamsk station. Also there are electric trains of Kursk direction departing from stations “Podolsk”, “Shcherbinka”, “Depot”, “Moscow – Kurskaya”. By car to Volokolamsk can be reached by two ways – by Volokolamsky and Novorizhsky highway. If you choose the first way, there is a chance to get into practically a round-the-clock traffic jam when entering Krasnogorsk near Moscow. Besides, Volokolamskoye highway is already, than Novorizhskoye, which can create inconvenience in the way. Novorizhskoye highway is more modern and wide. Driving on it is more convenient if you have time to slip through the section where the road extension is carried out at the exit from Moscow, until rush hour.
