Station “Nizhny Tagil” refers to the Sverdlovsk Railway. From the north, the city can be accessed from Kushva, Kachkanar, Perm. From the south — from Yekaterinburg. Using rail transport, Nizhny Tagil can be accessed both from the nearest settlements by commuter trains and from afar. The city is connected by direct rail links to Moscow, Priobya, Kharkiv, Adler and Novorossiysk. From Yekaterinburg to the city twice a day there is a high-speed express.
