Select the faction and race of your warrior. If you are closer to the ideals of good, it is better to join the Alliance, and for those who feel predisposed to darkness, it makes sense to replenish the strength of the Horde. For the Alliance in current realities, the best race for a warrior is considered a vorgen, thanks to innate bonuses on a critical attack. But if you plan to fight other players rather than monsters, it’s worth choosing the person with the most effective PvP racial bonus. On
the Horde side, the most preferred races for a melee master are tauren (due to increased health and capacity for mass stun) and an orc with increased resistance to stun and axe-wielding bonuses. For PvP, the unqualified leader is the race of the undead.
You need to decide on your role. Whether you do damage (DD – from the English Damage Dealer) or take on hits of enemies (tank). Depending on this, one of three branches of talent is chosen: Weapon, Rampage, or Protection. The first two branches for the DD, and the third for the tank. Of course, you can change your talents at any time, but it is worth remembering that the outfit, which was perfect for the Rampage, can be completely useless in the Defence.
Early on pumping the character is most convenient to do it tank. The new system of picking up a group for passing dungeons almost instantly invites the tank to battle, unlike DD, which sometimes have to wait for 30-40 minutes. If the social component does not attract you, or you just want to enjoy all the story quests, it is better to choose Rampage or Weapon. In principle, any of these branches have its advantages: in the first case damage, in the second case survival.
Any class in World of Warcraft is truly revealed only to the maximum level, and warrior is no exception. After reaching the 90th level almost everything – equipment, talents, placement of skills – changes dramatically. Nevertheless, the basic principles will remain the same. For example, it’s better for the rack to match the chosen talent branch. The Warrior of Rampage feels better with a weapon in each hand, and the tank without a shield is useless. In the game warrior there are many intricacies and special techniques that you can learn on thematic forums and, of course, on your own experience.
