is little different from previous Huawei models, and in general does not stand out in appearance among other Android smartphones. It has a plastic case, quite large latitude and does not have any outstanding design elements. Available in green, purple and black.
Huawei Y8p already has some stand out features. First, the smartphone angles are pleasantly rounded. It does not crash into the arm and is generally more comfortable sitting in the hand than Y6p. It is thin, has chrome side panels and overall looks non-cheap. This machine resembles a slightly enlarged Huawei P30.
The main problem is that after a short period of time there are scratches left on the back panel – the case made of plastic. It is not recommended to be carried in one pocket with keys or trifle. The kit includes a transparent case, however the models greatly increase in size.
Fingerprint scanners on each of the smartphones are present. Y6p module is located on the back panel, Y8p is under the screen. Both models have a high response rate.
Model Y8p has the following characteristics:
– 48 MP main camera, f1.8, 27 mm – 8 MP wide angle Optics, f2.4, 17 mm – 2 MP depth of field sensor
– Front camera – 16 MP, f/2.0, 26 mm
Huaweicamera Y6p by characteristics is obviously much worse:
– 13 MP main camera, f1.8, 26 mm – 8 MP wide angle optics, f2.2, 17 mm – 2 MP depth of field sensor
– Front camera – 8 MP, f/2.0, 25 mm
Infact, not everything is so unambiguous. Yeah, the camera from Huawei Y8p shoots a little saturated. The detail is slightly better, the color palette is wider, but the result does not differ coordinatively strongly.
On macro shooting, it’s exactly the same. Both models cope with close distance focus, it is only a color correction.
Night shooting is just as good enough on both smartphones. At Y8p, the camera displays less noise and shadows – that’s the only difference. The first photo is Y6p, the second is Y8p.
On paper, the difference between the cameras is a coordinate, $ however one cannot say that the Y8p module is per head higher. In general, it’s a little better, but not much.
Huawei Y8p run on the HiSilicon Kirin 710F processor in conjunction with the Mali-G51 MP4 GPU Turbo 3.0. The Huawei Y6p runs on the MediaTek Helio P22 processor in the PowerVR GE8320 bundle. The Huawei Y8p has 4GB of RAM, a memory card slot up to 256GB and a 4000 mAh battery.
Y6p has worse features – 3 GB RAM, up to 512 GB memory card slot and 5000 mAh battery.
