How to connect a modem to a table

Unlock the tablet and use the “Settings” button in the main menu of the device to access the settings connection. In the menu that appears, select “Wireless Networks” – “Mobile Network”.

Check the box next to “Data Transfer” to activate 3G cellular network connection.

Install the modem in the USB port of the tablet. Most devices use mini or micro USB output. To install the modem, you may need to connect a special adapter that can be bought from the store of cell phones, accessories and computer components. Connect the adapter to the tablet port, and install the USB modem at the other end of the wire.

Wait until the device is defined on the system, and then you will see the 3G network icon at the top of the screen. Go to the APN Access Point section to add a new setting for the modem. Select New Access Point.

Enter the data of your operator that can be specified in the instructions for using the modem. Also, part of the settings can be activated automatically if your modem is locked under a specific operator. Check the settings you have entered. Particularly important are APN, “User Name”, “Password” fields.

For “Beeline”, the point of APN is For MTS, specify, and for Megaphone, simply enter the Internet value. The username will match the name of your operator in Latin (mts or beeline). For Megaphone, enter the gdata username. The password to access the network is the same as the user name. In the MCC field, enter 250. If you use MTS, specify 01 for MNC, for Megaphone is 99, and for Beeline is 02.

Save your changes and wait a few seconds to apply the settings. If all settings have been entered correctly, you will be able to view pages on the Internet after you switch to Browser.
