Instructions for use of Terzhinan
Terzhinan is issued in the form of vaginal tablets. One tablet contains 200 mg of ternidazole, 100 mg of neomycin sulfate, 100,000 nystatin eats, 3 mg of prednisolone. Ternidazole is an antifungal agent active against anaerobic bacteria. Neomycin is an antibiotic with a wide range of action, effective against streptococci, shigellas and other bacteria. The resistance of microorganisms to this substance develops to a small degree and very slowly. Nistatin is an antifungal antibiotic that has a highly effective action against yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida. Prednisolone is an analog of hydrocortisone, it has an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect.
Terginan is prescribed to treat vaginites caused by some microorganisms. In particular, it is used in bacterial vaginitis, vaginal trichomoniasis, vaginitis caused by fungi of the genus Candida, and also in mixed vaginites. The drug is used as a prevention of urogenital infections or vaginitis before gynecological operations, before and after insertion of intrauterine agents, before birth or abortion, before birth or abortion intrauterine studies.
Terjinan is administered before bedtime. Before administration, the tablet is required to be put in water for 20-30 seconds, then it needs to be injected deep into the vagina in the lying position. After that, it is necessary to lie for at least 10-15 minutes. The duration of treatment is 10 days. If mycosis is diagnosed, the duration of treatment is extended to 20 days.
The preventive course of treatment should last 6 days.
Contraindications, side effects of Terzhinan

Terjinan’s treatment should not be stopped during menstruation.
