Corn salad with sesame seeds

As a light snack, serve a mixture of fresh salad leaves with corn, sesame and garlic dressing. It is worth accompanying with fresh grain bread and well-chilled white wine.

You will need:
– 100 g Chinese salad;
– 100 g frise salad;
– 250 g canned corn grains;
– 1 teaspoon sweet mustard;
– 2 tablespoons olive oil;
– 2 garlic cloves;
– 1 teaspoon sesame;
– 1 tablespoon wine vinegar;
– salt.

Rinse the salad and discuss. Narrow it into small pieces and fold into a bowl. Drain the liquid from the can with the corn, mix the grains with the salad.

Grind the garlic, mix it with olive oil, mustard, wine vinegar and salt. Whisk everything into a homogeneous mass and pour it salad. The finished dish sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Instead of vinegar, freshly squeezed lemon juice can be added to the sauce.

Canned corn soup

Try making a mouth-watering bright yellow soup of canned corn with shrimp. The delicate taste of seafood perfectly shades the light sweetness of corn grains.

You will need:
– 500g of canned corn;
– a few large peeled boiled ice-cream shrimp
;
– 1 cup cream;
– 1 bulb; – 2 potatoes;
– butter for frying;
– salt;
– freshly ground black pepper.

Peel the potatoes and cut with cubes. Pour it with water, salt and cook until semi-ready. Then drain the liquid from the can of corn and add the grains to the pan. Brush the onion, grind and roast in preheated butter. Put the onions in the soup, cook for a couple more minutes.

Pour the soup into a food processor bowl and turn into a puree. Return the mixture to the pan, pour in the cream and heat without bringing to a boil. Salt and pepper the soup to taste.

Pour the prawns with boiling water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water. Before serving, add a few prawns to each soup plate. Separately serve homemade croutons or fresh white bread.

Corn fritters

This dish can become a fine side dish to fried chicken fillet or grilled legs. A vegetable salad can be served separately. The fritters are delicious and as an independent dish – serve fresh sour cream or cream sauce to them.

You will need:
– 500g of canned corn;
– 1 hot red pepper;
– 1 cup kefir;
– 2 cups wheat flour;
– 1 egg;
– salt;
– 1 teaspoon of soda.

Pour the kefir into a deep bowl, add the lightly beaten egg, salt and soda to it. Stir everything and fill the pre-sifted flour with portions. Then lay the canned corn in the dough and stir the mixture until fully smooth. Brush hot peppers, cut thinly and add to the dough too.

Before putting the dough on the pan, stir it – the grains settle on the bottom of the bowl.

In a deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil. Put out small portions of dough with a spoon. Fry the fritters to a ruddy crust, gently flip them to the other side and continue cooking. Check the degree of baking products by poking them with a fork – there should be no traces of dough on the prongs. Ready fritters fold into a plate and keep warm until serving.
