For example, on the birthday you can cook meat on a potato “pillow” under a cheese crust, one of the variations of the meat that is hotly loved by many in French. Delicate and juicy, it will surely appeal to guests. In addition, it does not need to prepare a side dish separately.
To prepare this dish you will need:
– 2 large onion bulbs;
– 3-4 large potatoes
– 500 g of beef or pork fillets
– 600 g of tomatoes
– 200 g of cheese Solid varieties
– 300 g of low-fat sour cream
– 150 ml of water
– salt, pepper to taste

First, get into preparing products. Rinse the meat under the tap and thoroughly discuss with a napkin. Peel and cut the onion with half rings, remove the peel from the potato and cut it with circles about 1 cm thick. Rub the cheese on a large grater. Take a deep baking tray and grease it with vegetable oil. Put on the bottom an even layer of potatoes and lightly salt. On top, lay out the meat. To make the dish more juicy, lay steaks closely together. Then spread the onion evenly, on which lay a layer of sliced tomato rings.
Break the sour cream with water. In consistency it should resemble kefir. Salt, pepper and pour evenly the contents of the tray. Put the meat in a preheated to 190oS oven for about half an hour. When the time passes, get the baking tray, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese and send it to the oven for about 15 minutes.
Before finally taking the dish out of the oven, check its readiness with a fork. She should effortlessly poke through meat and potatoes.
If you or your guests prefer seafood meat, prepare a similar dish with fish. It will require the same ingredients as the previous dish with the only difference that instead of meat you need to take 600g of cod fillets or other fish.
The cooking process of this hot dish almost completely repeats the recipe described above. On the oiled baking tray lay a layer of chopped potato mugs, salt. Next it is necessary to spread the pieces of washed and coated with salt and pepper fish fillet, chopped with half rings onions, circles of tomatoes. On top, pour diluted water sour cream and bake for half an hour at 190oC, then sprinkle with grated cheese and cook for another 15 minutes.
