Salads with language

You’ll need
  • For salad “Spring”:
  • – boiled beef tongue;
  • – 5-6 fresh cucumbers;
  • – 2 cloves of garlic;
  • – 150g hard cheese;
  • – 3 tbsp mayonnaise;
  • – 2 tbsp sour cream.
  • For savoury Croatian salad:
  • – 400 g smoked beef tongue
  • – 100 g pickled cornichons
  • – head of onion
  • – – parsley;
  • – 1 tsp mustard;
  • – salt to taste;
  • – 1 tbsp vegetable oil.
  • For avocado and beef tongue salad:
  • – 400 g boiled beef tongue;
  • – 2 avocados –
  • red onion head –
  • 1/3 bunch cilantro or parsley;
  • – 3-4 lettuce sheets;
  • – salt;
  • – 1 tbsp mayonnaise;
  • – 1 tbsp sour cream.

To prepare the salad “Spring”, cut the boiled beef tongue into thin plates and then each thin straws. Cut the cucumbers as well. Fold these ingredients into a salad pan and refill with a mixture of sour cream, mayonnaise and passed through a press of garlic. Rub the cheese on a fine grater, add it to the salad and stir lightly. Immediately serve to the table, otherwise the salad will flow and lose its beautiful appearance.

To prepare a spicy salad in Croatian beef tongue, cut into small straws, and cut the pickled cornichons into several parts. Add the diced onions to them and salt a little to taste. Mix the mustard with vegetable oil in a separate container and refill with this salad mixture. At the end, sprinkle the crushed parsley greens.

To prepare a light and bright salad with avocado, clean this fruit from the peel, get the bone, and cut the flesh into cubes. Similarly grind the beef tongue. Cut the red onion into thin half-rings. Add to these torn finely lettuce leaves and crushed greens. Refill such salad with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise. If necessary, salt to taste.
