How to cook muffins a la “Snickers”?

You’ll need
  • For muffins:
  • – 160 g flour;
  • – 150 g sugar;
  • – 2 eggs;
  • – 120 g butter;
  • – 4 tbsp sour cream;
  • – 4 tbsp milk;
  • – 0.5 tsp soda;
  • – 2 tsp baking powder;
  • – steam chips of salt.
  • For sprinkling:
  • – 80 g flour;
  • – 80 g sugar;
  • – 60 g butter;
  • – 100 g Snickers bar;
  • – 100 g toffee.

Let’s start by preparing sprinkles – strayzel. First of all, the butter should be cold, so it’s best to put it in the freezer in advance for half an hour. And immediately cut off a slice of 120 g for the dough and leave at room temperature to soften it. In the meantime, mix flour with sugar and cut toffee and “Snickers” into small (the milder, the better) pieces. Then rub the oil on the grater, quickly rub the fingertips with flour to a non-uniform crumb, add “Snickers” and toffee and put in the fridge while we cook the dough.



oven is set to warm up to 190 degrees. Sift the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder and salt) into a bowl. Beat the butter and sugar with the help of a mixer in a light lush mass. Add eggs, beat again. Then send to the bowl of the mixer sour cream, stir until smooth.


Sour half of the sifted flour, whisk. Then half the milk. Stir and add flour and milk, whisking each time.


Pour the dough over the prepared moulders, sprinkle with the strayzel and send to the oven for 40 minutes.
