Krasnodar crosses the M4 federal trunk road, which runs from Moscow to Novorossiysk. You can leave this route by car in the direction of the capital from the northern part of the city on Rostov highway, in the direction of the Black Sea – from the south-eastern part of the city.
From Krasnodar it is possible to get to any major settlement of the region by intercity or commuter bus, which travel quite regularly. This transport is sent from three bus stations: Yuzhny, Krasnodar-1 and Krasnodar-2. You can reach these stations by trolleybus, tram or share taxi. Tickets can be purchased right before departure, but in summer it is better to buy them in advance, especially in the Black Sea direction.
Krasnodar is also a major railway hub of Kuban and Russia, so leaving this way will not be a problem. There are three railway stations in the city, but it is customary to leave for other cities from the largest station — Krasnodar-1, located almost in the center of the Kuban capital. Trains from there go to any region of Russia.
And, of course, in the city there is an international airport, which is located in the eastern part of Krasnodar, in the residential district Pashkovsky. You can reach it by shuttle taxi, bus or trolleybus. Krasnodar Airport today serves charter and scheduled flights of many Russian and foreign airlines. From it you can fly to many major cities in Russia. So, without additional transfers from Krasnodar by air, you can easily get to Sochi, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Gelendzhik, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk and many other cities. Departures from Krasnodar are also carried out on international lines – to Turkey, Egypt, France, Italy, Prague, Austria, former CIS countries and others.
