In April, May and June, families eligible for maternal capital can count on supporting payments from the federal budget. At the same time, 5000 rubles will be paid monthly for each child under the age of 3 years. How and where to issue a benefit?
To start, you need to go to the FIU website in the section “Citizen’s Personal Account”, scroll the site down, and find the graph “Maternal (family) capital – MSK”. Next select “Apply” for an additional monthly payment.
Next, you will need authorization through the “Public Service” portal (you must have a confirmed account). If not, you can fill in a profile yourself, upload scans of identity documents and confirm identity through “Sberbank Online”. There are many instructions on the internet today on how to do this. The account on “Public Services” will be useful for you to obtain other services that can be used online.
Then there is a window where in stages (step 1,2,3,4) you need to fill in data about yourself as an applicant, information about children, as well as your account details, where this benefit in case of approval by Pension Fund of the Russian Federation can be listed.
Now the system is overloaded, so periodically when filling out the application you may be thrown out of the site. But many parents have already managed to do so. Those who have already used the service and applied say the funds promise to transfer within 3 business days.
Who is entitled to the dole?
- A family in which there is a 1st or 2nd child from whose birth she has acquired the right to maternal (family) capital.
- The benefit is payable for all children under 3 years of age. That is, if your family has two children and both of them have not reached the age of three, then you will receive an allowance of 5000 rubles monthly from April to June.
- no other requirements for benefit recipients. Family incomes don’t count here. Payments are not made from maternal capital. Even if you have already spent your matcapital, you are still entitled to the benefit.
No need to confuse this temporary benefit with presidential payments under 3 years, which are issued to families with an average per capita income below the two-fold living wage. The manual referred to in this article is directly related to the coronavirus pandemic and the country’s dire economic situation. This is a temporary supportive measure from the state for families with young children on their hands. Also, the Government plans an additional payment of 3000 rubles for children in families where parents lost their jobs and registered in the employment center.
