1

The

main motto of the Japanese garden is contemplation, all elements are harmonious and symbolic. Each symbol emphasizes the uniqueness of nature, shows its natural beauty, such elements are water, stones and plants.

2

There are several kinds of Japanese gardens. The first type is a garden of stones. A garden in which the water is symbolized by stones and the plants symbolize islands and mountains. In order to create such a garden, there is no need for a large area. If you choose this type of garden, then prepare the plot by cleaning it of debris and zipping it with geotextile. Geotextile will not allow weeds to sprout through rocks. On the geotextile fill stones or large clean sand, in places plant moss. Arrange a couple of large stones, and on the surface with small stones, draw waves or circles.

3

The second type is the tsukiyama garden, it emphasizes all elements of nature. It is a garden with bodies of water and plants. Paths, bridges pass through the garden. You can sit in this garden as well as a separate body of water and a whole stream system. From the plants choose predominantly coniferous, so your garden will be decorative throughout the year. Suitable for pines, junipers, cypress and tui, all these species have many varieties from which you can form both bonsai and pillow shapes. From the deciduous fit plants with a weeping crown shape and various types of maples. From flowers, prefer the Japanese flower king – peony, suitable frosts, astilbs and irises. As herbaceous, choose oatmeal, it will create characteristic pillow pews. If you live in a warm strip, be sure to plant bamboo. If the climate does not allow, then use multitwigs, or dwarf bamboo, sazochka naked, fargesia and phyllostachis.

4

The third type of garden is the garden of tea ceremony. It is sure to have a fountain and a gazebo for the tea ceremony. The path to the gazebo is laid out with large stones at spacing in stride. The plants are used roughly the same as in the tsukiyama garden, but it is better to exclude the plants of bright colors, prefer only the green range.
